Old Gold Racing launches new Plumpton horse with trainer Chris Gordon

Old Gold Racing unveils an exciting new syndicate racehorse partnership with Plumpton Racecourse, trained by leading local trainer Chris Gordon.

Answer That is an attractive and well-made 4-year-old gelding by Holy Roman Emperor out of Putaringonit, purchased by Highflyer Bloodstock for £30,000 at the Goffs UK October Sale.

He has already shown plenty of promise on the track, finishing second on debut to a well-regarded rival who has since gone on to compete at Listed level. On that occasion, he displayed a professional attitude to make much of the running before being narrowly headed late on - a performance full of potential for one making his first racecourse appearance.

Old Gold Racing has teamed up with Plumpton Racecourse, who are holding the Charlotte Savill Memorial Raceday, to create a racing syndicate geared towards raising funds and awareness for the foundation.

Every share in Answer That includes a £2 donation to the foundation, which will be matched by both Old Gold Racing and Plumpton racecourse, meaning that each share will help to raise £6 to fund research into FLC.

Old Gold Racing has also donated £10,000 to sponsor Charlotte's brother, Tom, on his 2,600km cycling expedition from Morocco to Plumpton.

Once all shares are sold, syndicate members, Old Gold Racing and Plumpton Racecourse will have raised over £25,000 to help fight this cruel disease.
