3.17 York - BINHAREER 5/1 (NAP)

BINHAREER has possibly been the unluckiest horse of the entire season, beaten either by unsuitable ground or a poor ride on every start. He began his season over C&D, rated 99, and would have won with complete ease had he not been given too much to do. He then went to the Wokingham, on ground too quick, but was run into the back of multiple horses before flying home long after the race was won. Last time out was case of 'more of the same', given no chance on heavy ground, running into the back of everything and barely off the bridle throughout. He came into this race last year, from the Silver Cup, and won like a Group horse and, despite his year, there has been nothing to suggest that he isn't one. He should be 2 from 2 here, he wont have any issue on the ground and, drawn in 9, he can go whatever side is riding the better. Unfortunately, Marquand is riding again, but he's at the meeting for this horse.

4.02 Chepstow - THE MIGHTY CELT 6/1 (Next Best)

THE MIGHTY CELT looks like he'll be a huge improver for the Skelton's this year, having come over from France last season. He ran three times, in very hot races, and ran well on each of those, despite the trip being shorter than ideal. With a summer to acclimatize, he's open to no end of improvement this season. The form of his Fred Winter run at the Cheltenham Festival and the Aintree effort, has worked out very well and on both occasions he was never stronger than at the line. This has, as it will have with loads of these, been his target all summer, so he should be fit enough.
