Professional tipster Ben Merritt gives his thoughts on today's racing...
NAP - 3.23 Chester IMPARTIALITY 7/1 1pt win
IMPARTIALITY will win soon, of that I have no doubt, and he was ridden to make sure he lost last time out at Thirsk. I'll be honest, I'd have probably preferred him in the slightly harder race he was entered in at York on Saturday, but he's a course winner here at Chester and this looks a much more winnable race. He's off a mark that he's never won off, but has been as close as a losing photo off 2lb higher in the past, so there's no reason to think he cant win here. Phillip Makin's horses are flying with 3 of his last 8 runners winning and Shane Gray knows him well.

Next Best - 2.25 York RECENCY BIAS 9/1 1pt win 6 places
RECENCY BIAS ran a blinder last time out, finishing 2nd to a Royal Ascot bound, well handicapped, winner over a trip to short. He will have to run to a similar level once more here, from a wide draw, but with only 7 runs under his belt there is no reason to think that he isnt an improving horse. The step back up to 7f here ought to be much more to his liking and, based on his novice form when 2nd to Forty Years On (giving her weight), he looks well treated off a mark of 85.
