Secret Scripture

Secret Scripture is a handsome 7-year-old chestnut by Mount Nelson (rated 119 on the flat) and out of Kauto Shiny (rated 136 hurdling and 125 chasing).

He won in an Irish point-to-point on only his second start, where he jumped well, travelled strongly and battled hard to seal victory in the closing stages.

Secret Scripture came from Mongbeg Stables, which has produced the likes of Monkfish, Bravemansgame and Holywell.

He is now in Point-To-Point training with the Arkwrights after it was decided that he didn't quite have the fitness to take full National Hunt training.

Secret Scripture is Old Gold Racing's club horse, meaning that anyone can have a share in him for free and follow his journey.

The length of the syndicate term is indeterminate. We would like it to last as long as possible but should Secret Scripture become unfit to race for any reason, we will always do what is in his best interests. Should this situation arise, Old Gold Racing will seek to acquire another club horse to take his place.
