The Jersey Rocs Club Syndicate offers you the chance to own a larger share of a two-time winner on the flat at a very competitive price.
Jersey Rocs' trainer, Charlie Hills, kept hold of a third of the horse, saying that "I wanted to keep a third because what I've seen of him since September [2022] I really like and I think he's got a really nice future". Mr Hills added that Jersey Rocs "should improve with age". He has been proven correct.
Since Jersey Rocs' initial syndicate closed, he has won twice in impressive fashion, and Mr Hills is confident that there is more to come.
One benefit of Mr Hills' involvement is that he will not take any owners badges, meaning that owners are more likely to win one when Jersey Rocs runs.
Due to there only being 150 shares in the syndicate, owners will also be guaranteed a ticket to visit Charlie Hills' yard at Wetherdown House for a stable visit. Owners will also receive a larger portion of any prize money won and a larger portion of proceeds made from any eventual sale.
Crucially, we are able to offer shares in this syndicate at a very competitive price because Old Gold Racing will charge zero management fees to this syndicate.
The quid pro quo is that Old Gold Racing reserves the right to keep all Old Gold Racing members up to date on Jersey Rocs' progress - this is why it is being marketed as a 'Club' syndicate.

Jersey Rocs is a big, strong four-year-old gelding, with a very fast pedigree that is packed with quick, Black Type horses.
He caught the eye of McKeever Bloodstock and Charlie Hills at the Goffs Orby Sale in 2022, who then offered him to Old Gold Racing.
He is sired by Group 1 winning sprinter Twilight Son, who has produced top draw Group and Listed winning and placed sprinters such as Aria Importante, Twilight Calls, Twilight Jet, Twilight Spinner and Wicklow to name but a few.His dam, Maybride, is a Cheveley Park mare and a daughter of Mayson, who has also produced top class sprinting talent. Maybride reached an official rating of 92 at her best and won 25% of her starts over 6f on the turf.
She is a full sister to Group 3 placed sprinter Rosebride, who won 2 of her 7 starts and finished 2nd on three other occasions.Based on his pedigree Jersey Rocs ought to handle anything from good to heavy ground, which would make him incredibly versatile and give his owners the chance to see plenty of him.
It was a particularly good sign that his trainer, Charlie Hills, has said “I want to keep a third in the horse because what I’ve seen of him since September I really like and I think he’s got a really nice future.“Mr Hills also informed us that he thinks “this horse should improve with age, I think he’ll be a tremendously exciting horse to be involved with. He’s very sound, looks like he’s got a good mind and he’s got a good constitution as well so I think he’ll take his racing really well”.
Jersey Rocs finished 2nd on debut at Ripon, beaten only 2½ lengths by Seven Questions, who has since won a Group 3 at Newmarket. On his second start he sustained a minor injury but made a full recovery over the winter.
His first two runs of last season didn’t get close to revealing his potential and Charlie subsequently made the decision to have him gelded. He was then stepped up to a longer trip, as the team felt this would play to his strengths based on everything they had seen.
Jersey Rocs seemed to appreciate the step up in trip but still failed to show the ability we saw on his first start. It became clear that he needed a bit of help to focus on his racing and that is where the blinkers have come in.
He really turned a corner in the latter part of last year with headgear on and has now managed to tally up two wins on the bounce.

Now that Jersey Rocs has found his form, he is expected to continue on an upward trajectory. It’s therefore a great time to get involved!
There are two other partners in this horse (Charlie Hills and Tim Cottier), so once 150 shares are sold, the syndicate will own one third of the horse.
